Safety-Certifiable Avionics Processor with XMC Expansion
The V3-1223 is a rugged 3U OpenVPX processor module designed for defense and aerospace systems that need both high performance and support for safety certification. Powered by a 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1376PRE processor with integrated Intel® Iris® Xe graphics, the V3-1223 delivers high-performance processing, graphics, and I/O flexibility in a SOSA® aligned form factor.
Designed for next-generation avionics and mission computing, the V3-1223 supports systems targeting Development Assurance Level A (DAL A) using A(M)C 20-152A as a means of compliance for RTCA DO-254 objectives. It helps system designers reduce certification risk while delivering the processing power needed for advanced cockpit displays, flight control computers, sensor fusion, navigation, surveillance, and mission processing applications.
The V3-1223 adds an XMC mezzanine site, giving engineers a flexible way to add avionics interfaces, sensor inputs, storage, FPGA acceleration, or other application-specific I/O without redesigning the main processor card. With 64 GB LPDDR5 memory, 10G Ethernet, TSN-capable 1000BASE-T Ethernet, PCIe Gen 3 expansion, DisplayPort graphics, and built-in health monitoring, the V3-1223 provides a modular path to higher-performance safety-certifiable computing.
