Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Report
The objective of the FAT is to provide confidence that the system to be delivered meets user requirements. Curtiss-Wright products are modular and are therefore tested on both an individual level and within a system. The FAT is performed using DAS Studio 3 and IADS RT Station software. The resulting procedure report is provided to the customer.
The FAT is a procedure based on a customer order and can be either standard or non-standard. A non-standard FAT must be pre-agreed before testing begins. Visit dates for witnessing the FAT must be agreed at time of order confirmation. If witnessing of the FAT is not required, this must be confirmed with Curtiss-Wright.
As configuration varies, preparation is necessary. Therefore SVS/PRP/100 must also be ordered.
If training is requested at the ACRA Dublin factory, then order SVS/TRN/100. For customer site training, order SVS/OSV/100.
