The KAD/MDC/105 interfaces to multiplexed Digital Temperature Compensation (DTC) pressure scanners such as the ESP-32HD or ESP-64HD (DTC ordering option only) from TE Connectivity.

The KAD/MDC/105 supports two pressure scanners. Each scanner interface provides a pair of analog differential-ended inputs for scanner pressure and temperature measurements. In addition to measurement channels, the KAD/MDC/105 provides individual 6-bit address busses and necessary power supplies. Each address bus additionally serves the role of a DTC scanner communication interface, which is used to set up the scanner, as well as to allow read of DTC calibration memory, for measurement of internal scanner excitation, and to check the scanner's manifold position.

The KAD/MDC/105 sequentially addresses 64 multiplexed channels of DTC pressure scanners and measures voltages on their outputs in order to further process them according to DTC algorithms based on scanner calibration data.
