AXN/VID/401
H.264 video encoder
The AXN/VID/401 is an H.264 video encoder card that captures a single HD-SDI/3G-SDI channel input and compresses it. Compressed video bit-rate is kept constant using multi-pass encoding and padding of the transport stream.
An independent separate transport stream can be produced with low data rate setting at 720p resolution for telemetry applications.
The output of the AXN/VID/401 can be placed in an IRIG 106 chapter 4 PCM stream using an AXN/ENC/40x. The AXN/VID/401 packetizer can also be configured to generate a packet stream. The packet format can be configured to iNET-X, IENA or IRIG 106 Chapter 10.
