High-Capacity Tactical Data Storage Server
PacStar® 455 Tactical Data Storage Server provides a high-performance cloud, virtualization, and storage platform for forward-deploying applications or for providing network-attached storage in a compact, quick-setup, rugged form factor. Its new Intel Ice Lake processor offers faster general-purpose processing capabilities for virtualization and other compute-intensive applications.
With PacStar 455, the warfighter can now read and write data up to five times faster and hold four times as much data as before. This shift is driven by the adoption of Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe®) technology. PacStar 455 now offers up to half a petabyte of NVMe storage in a seven-pound box, all within the current compact, rugged footprint. This transition eliminates any data bottleneck, ensuring that high-bandwidth sensors can stream information directly to storage without dropping a single frame or packet.
